Enermak considers occupational health and safety (OHS) a fundamental requirement of all its activities. Within this framework:
- All works are conducted in accordance with the current occupational health and safety legislation and national and international standards.
- No unsafe working conditions are permitted.
Risk Assessment and Preventive Measures
- Risk assessments are conducted before starting work in field and facility operations.
- Potential hazards are identified in advance, and necessary technical and organizational measures are taken.
- Work does not commence until risks are eliminated or brought under control.
Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- The use of personal protective equipment suitable for the task is mandatory.
- PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves, safety harnesses, and similar items are used completely and correctly.
- The use of damaged or inappropriate protective equipment is not allowed.
Safety of Machinery, Equipment, and Lifting Systems
- Periodic inspections of all machinery and equipment used are performed regularly.
- Lifting and handling equipment are operated only by authorized and trained personnel.
- No work is performed with faulty or unsafe equipment.
Employee Responsibilities and Safety Awareness
- Every employee is considered responsible for the safety of their teammates as much as their own health.
- Unsafe situations, risks, and non-compliances are immediately reported to the authorities.
- Compliance with occupational safety rules is mandatory for all employees.
Training, Information, and Continuous Auditing
- Occupational health and safety training is provided regularly to employees.
- Newly hired personnel receive the necessary OHS briefing before entering the field.
- Field applications are continuously audited, and non-compliances are rectified immediately.
Communication, Notification, and Participation
- An open communication environment is supported where employees can freely share risks, hazards, and suggestions.
- Notifications are evaluated with a preventive and corrective approach.
- Employee participation in OHS processes is encouraged.
Emergency Situations and Response
- Emergency plans are created and regularly communicated to employees.
- Procedures to be followed in case of fire, accidents, and similar situations are clearly defined.
- Emergency teams and equipment are kept ready at all times.
